CIFs Monthly Reporting Obligations September 2020

With respect to the Monthly Reporting Obligations of Cyprus Investment Firms (“CIF”s) as per the relevant provisions of the Law 87(I)/2017, as amended, as well as the Directives and Circulars issued thereof, we would like to remind you of the obligations for September 2020:

A. Monthly Obligations


Monthly Prevention Statements: Kindly inform us the total amount of "Cash" deposits over 10K for August 2020, so we can prepare the Monthly Prevention Statement for CySEC.

  • Deadline: 14th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: via the Portal

Complaints Form - T144-002-01

  • Deadline: 5th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: via the TRS

B. Quarterly and Annual Obligations (only for Market Makers)

EQSS RTS 27: Uploaded on website in a MR format + summary of conclusions per instrument.

  • Deadline: 30th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: website

  • Reporting Period: 01/04/20XX -30/06/20XX

Circular 351 - Directive DI20-01: Recovery plans to be prepared by CIFs

  • Deadline: 30th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: via email to crdsubmission@cysec.gov.cy

C. Annual Obligations

ICF Ordinary Annual Contribution

  • Payment of the Ordinary Annual Contribution to the Investors Compensation Fund (ICF) ONLY IF ICF SENT AN INVOICE. 80% Discount to the amount if CIFs pay before the 10th of September 2020.

Obligatory Administrative Fees to ICF (Euros 700)

Circular C401 - Actions to be taken with regards to CIF Record

Confirmation regarding the content of the CIF Record to be sent to the Commission.

  • Deadline: 30th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: email to supervision@cysec.gov.cy

Tax Department: Submission of CRS and FATCA Form

  • Deadline: 30th of September 2020

  • Way of submission: Ariadni Portal

Registrar of Companies: Annual Levy (Euros 350)
